Paul Purdie has been in the building trade for almost 20 years. He started his career as an Apprentice Bricklayer through Glasgow North College.
 
During this time, he gained first hand experience in the renovation and refurbishment of derelict tenement buildings, upgrading them to new social housing homes for Glasgow Housing Corporation.
 
In 1997, he successfully undertook a Batchelor of Science Degree in Building Surveying through Glasgow Caledonian University. As a result, he is able to offer his clients much more in terms of his depth of knowledge and experience.

 

Prior to setting up Purdie Builders, Paul worked for a major brickwork contractor in Sussex as a Project Manager. As well as organising the building work, he was also responsible for coordinating the various associated trades in order that the projects came in on schedule and budget.

 

Purdie Builders, in its present form, was started in 2000. We specialise in large domestic projects from initial design to completion including:- New Build; Extensions; Loft Conversions; Refurbishments/Renovations; Internal Remodelling and Project Management.  We are also able to undertake smaller projects such as driveways, conservatories and all other general building work. 

 

We offer a full service from design to completion: from discussing client's initial ideas and assessing their feasibility (and offering alternative solutions if required) to dealing with the Architect, Planning & Building Control and related tradespeople (such as plumbing, plastering and electrical) in order to deliver a complete service from inception to completion.
